| Interlibrary Loan Changes
Effective March 1, 2010 the number of interlibrary loan requests will be reduced to 5 active requests, and requests for books that could be purchased for under $10.00 will not be filled. An interlibrary loan request is for an item borrowed from a library outside the Traverse des Sioux Regional Library through the MnLINK gateway. MnLINK defines an active request as any ILL item currently loaned to you or pending. This change is in response to a reduction in funds at a time of increased demand for this service, and will allow us to maintain our high level of service to all interlibrary loan patrons. | Please remember that public libraries from the nine county area and their Arts, History and Cultural partners may continue applying for grants from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF). Applications are due by the end of each month until May 31, 2010, and will be reviewed soon after each deadline. Application documents may found at http://tdslib.org/achf/.
