Music on Main provides free music, performed by Minnesota musicians, in downtown Gaylord. The mission of Music on Main is to bring our community together through music. We hope to promote Minnesota artists and expose young people to a variety of music and instill in them an appreciation for music. Music on Main will be having 14 performances this summer, every Wednesday starting June 1st thru August 31st and will be held in the municipal parking lot located at the corner of Main Avenue and 5th Street (it is directly diagonally across Main Avenue from the library. They are Dennis Warner, Carver Creek Bluegrass, Duke Zecco, Boomerang, Allen and Matt Carlson, Concord Singers, Melodeares, The Frye, Mary Guentzel Quintet, Church of Cash, Ann & Charlie Heymann, Off Duty Eggs, Slater Bros, and Riverblenders.
This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
