Arn Kind - The Great War WWI - Watonwan Public Library

Historian and educator Arn Kind will be presenting his talk on World War 1 in St. James. Dressed as a WWI soldier, ArnĀ gives the audience a realistic portrayal of life as a "Doughboy". He will discuss the causes of the war and how the US became involved. He will also talk about the role women played in the war effort and the new technologies that were introduced.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
