Civil War Story with Arn Kind - Blue Earth County Library

Arn Kind is a retired teacher and member of the First Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment, a reenactment group based at Fort Snelling. The group has performed in a number of Hollywood movies including "Blue and Gray", "Glory", "Dances with Wolves" and "North and South". Arn brings this authenticity to his hands-on, interactive presentation about the soldiers of the Civil War era. As part of his program, he brings artifacts, uniforms and equipment.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
