The CLIMB Theatre: The Tortoise and the Hare - St. Peter

CLIMB Theatre creates high-quality educational theatre that propels audiences toward positive action. Representative from the organization will visit the library to perform a mini play at our library based on the "Tortoise and the Hare," a production that was created with the summer reading program theme, "On your Mark, Get Get, Read!" in mind. Using the power of live theatre, CLIMB's play will teach the participants valuable character building skills, inspiring them to change their behavior and improve their communities. The play is about 20 minutes long and then there is a 20 minutes activity led by the actors that promotes literacy and creativity and art for some of our youngest patrons and their families.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
