Iron Men and Wooden Ships: The Golden Age of Piracy - Montgomery Public Library

What was it really like to be a pirate? Arn Kind will separate the myths from the facts about piracy, from ancient times to modern day pirates. He will cover what life aboard a ship is really like, what the dangers were, and why people chose to live the pirate life. The Waseca event will take place on International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
