Kids as Artists - Library grounds at North Mankato Taylor Library

An integral part of our annual ArtSplash Art Fair is getting people interested in learning about and producing their own art. A common theme at our library is to start when kids are young and grow them into readers and/or artists. To that end, we  would like to start with youngsters and provide a children's made it/take it booth at ArtSplash this year, providing a stipend to 5 artist who will each provide stipends for 2 face painters who will not only provide the kids with a fun decoration, but will also show that art comes in many forms. This program runs on June 18th, from 10am until 3pm.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
