Reader's Pumpkin Patch 2015

The Challenge: Decorate a pumpkin to look like the main character of you favorite library book!

Parents...let your child choose their favorite library book and then decorate a pumpkin to look like the main character from that book.

Medium pumpkins work best! You may choose any way to decorate the pumpkin as long as it goes along with the character in the book. You can use paint (spray paint works really well), fake hair, accessories, glitter, etc. Be creative! This is an at-home family project that will need your assistance. Please work WITH your child, but please don't do it for him/her.

Bring your decorated pumpkin to the Arlington Public Library by noon on Saturday, October 24th for our display & judging.  Pumpkins can be picked up any time after 3:00 pm on Friday, October 30th.

We are excited to see all of the creativity the children have to offer.  Thank you for your help with this project. It should be fun!
