Saint Peter Public Library presents: Lego Tiny Town

Peter Hoh will lead a Lego program that focuses on children using their creativity, engineering skills and teamwork to design and build a "tiny town". Peter is a instructor at the Science Museum of Minnesota and a former 4th grade teacher. Using a teaching format that incorporates challenging children, encouraging them to work together. Using the Summer Reading program theme, "Every Hero has a Story" to become the heroes of their town. He encourages children to increase their knowledge regarding construction and engineering. Lego books from the Saint Peter Library will also be on display during this program and the children will be encouraged to check out these materials after the program, as well as sign up for the Summer Reading Program.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
