Before the brunch on May 16th, you will be able to see and talk with each author on different Saturdays.
Allen Eskens who wrote "The Life We Bury" will be the first to be at St. Peter Public Library.
The Life We Bury is an evocative and twisting mystery and yet it is a book with a heart. When Joe Talbert ran away from home to go to college, he left behind an alcoholic mother and his autistic younger brother. As Joe throws himself into unraveling the mystery, he is haunted by his decision to leave his brother in the care of his dangerously dysfunctional mother and her abusive boyfriend. Joe must put things right with his brother as he struggles to uncover the truth about the decades-old murder.
This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
