Waseca Public Library presents: Write a Superhero Workshops

Teens and Tweens will engage in the writing process as they create a unique superhero character and place their hero in a perilous situation. The writers will brainstorm and answer questions to build a profile of their character's history and personality. Then, you will develop a character's superpower, including a description and its strengths and weaknesses. Next, you will create a villain to complement your hero. Writers will then outline and draft the story of how the hero thwarts the villain's evil schemes, overcoming problems along the way.

This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
